Une belle reprise, début juin 2022, après deux années d’interruption, pour cette manifestation amicale entre GoodWood en Angleterre et Pont Royal. Créée à l’initiative de Glynn Johns  et David Payne il y a 8 ans cette rencontre se déroule alternativement sur les deux parcours. Match plays en double puis en simple, durant trois journées…. et trois soirées !

Au final c’est l’équipe de Pont Royal qui l’emporte…. et donc GoodWood qui repart avec le Golden Boot remis à Kévin (capitaine de GoodWood en l’absence de Glynn souffrant) par Tom et Carolyn (capitaine et co-capitaine de Pont Royal). Ces derniers recevant la nouvelle « coupe » destinée aux vainqueurs !…

Première soirée chez Tom et Carolyn et clap de fin chez Inge….. Rendez-vous est pris pour la revanche de l’autre côté de la Manche cet automne !

A nice recovery, after two years of interruption, for this friendly event between GoodWood in England and Pont Royal. Created on the initiative of Glynn Johns and David Payne 8 years ago, this meeting takes place alternately on the two courses. Match plays in doubles then in singles, for three days…. and three evenings!

In the end it was the Pont Royal team that won…. and so GoodWood left with the Golden Boot given to Kévin (captain of GoodWood in the absence of Glynn suffering) by Tom and Carolyn (captain and co-captain of Pont Royal). The latter receiving the new « cup » intended for the winners!…
