Dames PACA at Sainte Victoire

Second meeting of the season at the Sainte Victoire golf course for the Interclub Dames PACA in stableford individual with a shot gun start at 9:30 for the 79 players on a course always panoramic.

Pont Royal, represented by Imelda Looman, Margriet Sigwalt, Marie Pierre Bleriot, Manon Duret, Anne Carole Galaup, Micheline Blot and Sylvie Torner,  scored at  6th place with 79 points:
Imelda Looman Gross 14 Points
Manon Duret Net 35 points
Sylvie Torner Net 30 points

Sainte Victoire / Aix en Provence are 1st with 92 points,
Cabre d’Or / Luberon 2nd 88 points, Dolce Frégate 3rd 85 points
La Salette 4th 83 points, Saumane 5th 81 points.

Congratulations to the team for this result which brings us back to 3rd place overall and especially  to Manon, 2nd Net of the day.
The wind made the game very complicated and out of the 79 players, only one managed better than his index.
Very friendly atmosphere for the meal on the terrace.
The 3rd meeting of the season will be played at the Miramas golf course on Thursday, May 30th in Stableford individual shot gun at 9:30.
As usual, players who wish to participate in this competition are welcome.

The “ASP at Manville

Thanks to Barbara Karol, Jeanie & Simon Hughes, Alain Desbouvrie, Alain Rault, Philippe Vallee, Jean Louis Bilhou and Alphonse Ribbers for their participation in the Manville competition on Tuesday 9 April. In particular course conditions with little greens, the team could do better than 8th out of the 9 teams. Pont Royal is 8th out of 9 overall after 2 competitions.

We will have better days !, next competition in Miramas on Tuesday May 7th. Reminder : you must be a member of the AS to participate and be up to date with  the medical certificate.

Ladies “Dames Séniors de Provence” at La Salette

The second meeting of the DSPLA in 2019 took place in La Salette, an opportunity for our team to welcome Jacqueline Fille!

84 players  for the start in shot gun, scramble two. Pont Royal was represented by 8 players:

Marie-Pierre Blériot and Anne Carole Galaup

Francine Battini and Micheline Blot

Nicole Rault and Jacqueline Girl

Magali Paganelli and Micheline Diepart Jancloes

The team ranks fifth of the day with 95 points and Pont Royal retains third place overall behind Aix Marseille and La Salette.

Beautiful day shared with friendly competitors on a course somewhat disturbed by the work of embellishment!

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day
The 2019 season has traditionally started on Sunday 17 February with the Valentine’s Day Cup at the Pont Royal International Golf Course. Thirty one teams were present on the course, with an exceptional weather and a top-of-the-range course to satisfy everyone.
Our two young players Mathilde and Boris won the Gross with 39 points or 3 below the par and Bruno and Manon won the Net with 44 points.
Congratulations to all the participants .
The awards ceremony took place on the terrace of ES BEU LA VIE, it was an opportunity to thank our generous and faithful sponsors,
Château CALAVON, Champagnes TSARINE / LANSON, TAAJ cosmetics
who contributed to the endowment of champagnes, wines and cosmetics. Thanks to the Pont Royal golf team and especially to Thibaut Sampoux .
The buffet offered by theSports Association Sportive was the opportunity for friendly exchanges and post-game discussions that gave everyone the desire to come back. .

The ASP in Valgarde

The Association Séniors de Provence was in Valgarde this week.

Sunny and warm, weather on this course that will welcome a Paca Tournament soon.

Excellent result for Pont Royal Tie First with the local Valgarde Team. Our team:

Sylvie Boulet, Alain Desbouvries, Jean-Louis Bilhou, Philippe Vallée, Philippe Vidal, Fred Deniau, George Laird, 

Superb performance for Fred &st in Groos at par and Sylvie second at +3.
